Sakeboys USA Imports was founded by Yosuke Matsushima and Arnold Ramos, two friends who met in college, when Yosuke was studying abroad in the US, and bonded over sake, Kyushu sake in particular. The idea that became Sakeboys was simple: bring sake from Kyushu, and then the rest of Japan, to the world, even in small quantities.

We still believe what Yosuke said when we began working together: a brewer's passion and a brewery's history add real value, and nowhere more than in a market like New York, where a server who can tell the story sells the bottle.

Today our mission is to use our hard-won expertise to serve as the bridge between exceptional Japanese producers and the vibrant New York market. Whether we are representing a new-to-market brewery to distributors, selling it through our wholesale partners, or acting as a trusted import partner for an established distributor, our commitment to quality and meticulous service remains the same.

SAKEBOYS USA, LLC was founded in Brooklyn and holds federal importer and wholesaler permits and a New York State importer licence. Sakeboys USA is independent and is not affiliated with any similarly named company.
